My friend Jeremy Somers has gone on and produced a range of women’s swimwear called We Are Handsome which is very unique. Okay, it’s totally unique. Check it out ladies. What do you think?
MOMO, the artist responsible for one of the newest (and certainly brightest) Y3 shoe collaborations has just released this short film: He did a video of the 5 art shapes, which are included in the shoe box and came up with 3520 different art hanging possibilities. He documented them all in stop motion + also made a poster out of it. the video is pretty amazing.
What happens when you make a hoodie out of Merino wool? New York based clothing company Outlier knows the answer in one word: Awesome. They’re durable, warm, wicking. Originally built for cycling, these look fantastic. Check them out.
Initially shown back in April, Nike announces a wider launch for November from its Paris Bastille by 180g campaign, focused on three simple sneaker styles, including the Tennis Classic, Air Flytop, and Flash. All three receive unique 180g treatments, a process which allows some of the brand’s classic product to be custom dyed, achieving a tailor-made type of aesthetic amongst various premium textiles and custom detailing. A release event is slated for November 5th, 2009 at 180g in Paris.
I’m loving the Tennis Classic shown above. More pictures over at HypeBeast

The OeTZI3300 shoe brand is inspired by a prehistoric man named “Oetzi” who has been carbon dated all the way back to 3300 B.C. His mummified body was unveiled from it’s frozen state during “global warming” and he was wearing nothing more than the basic essentials he needed for survival– good gear for protection and warmth, as well as a unique pair of bad ass shoes.
These shoes above (more color-ways after the jump) are inspired by the simple yet functional design of Oetzi’s shoes, our need to be environmentally responsible, and the need to better promote the art of well being. The collection features a pair made of napa leathers and oiled suede, both with an insulating yet breathable stretch inner sock liner– and a cork footbed designed for comfort (it also gradually molds to your footscape as you wear them).
Proceeds of every sale go to the Arthritis Foundation, as it was discovered by tattoo’s found on Oetzi’s body that he too had symptoms of joint disease and was probably treated with a very primitive form of acupunture. The brands logo is inspired by these tattoos.
These shoes were designed by the same guy behind one of my all the favorites for comfort, the Royal Elastics Grata. Congrats Ludovic!
The A.P.C. x All Court Sneakers. Some of my favorite shoes lately– I’ve been rocking the red accent ones for a few months, now they’re available in black on white canvas. And, for sale online for 90 Euros. Hat tip to Hypebeast for the heads up.
Great looking Acronym collection for the Fall and Winter. It reminds me of Burton’s Analog stuff. You can check out more coverage by Eugene Kan at Hypebeast.
Good day for these in NYC! A lovely rain boot design by our friend talented friend Zeptonn (who has a new site!)
Design for the Greenpeace summer campaign. The boot illustrates, in a positive way, the concept of protecting the tuna from overfishing by setting up sea-reserves. Available in a limited edition at festivals and online at the Greenpeace Fishmates Shop!
