It’s Mayor McCheese. Ji Lee, the absurdist genius who brought us tiny towns, thought bubbles, and the occassional straight ad, has crafted this politically charged representation of the Republican presidential candidate. He looks delicious — full of beef, cheese, and anecdotes about his time in a Vietnamese prison camp. After last night’s historic speech by Barack Obama, we suspected McCain to try and steal some of the Dem’s momentum. Turning your head into a sandwich … well played sir.

Big pic after the jump.

Zoe Regoczy is a U.K.-based designer with a load of new prints available in her shop. Her style doesn't include a lot of variation, mostly layered colors of girl's faces. Well — not just any girls. These girls are dangerous, like James Bond's femme fatals. Her prints aren't on sale, but for £20 we're tempted to redecorate our walls with the faces of our lovers from when we were spies. Check out her site for a full portfolio and sketchbook.

Mira Nameth is the type of artist who everyone loves. Her works are classic, drawing the attention of illustration snobs, my mother and everyone in between. It shouldn't be a surprise that she has worked with the likes of Coke, Absolut and Clinique. Her works often depict characters interlaced with floral patterns that bloom through the paper through simple details. She currently calls New York home, but has roots in Sweden and gained inspiration from Asia. Check out a really great interview at designtaxi.com and her website for some really amazing stuff.
