chalkboard_magnetic_paint.jpgI just stumbled upon a clever product at Yoyamart: Chalkboard Magnetic Paint. With two coats of this stuff, you’ll never need a whiteboard or bulletin board again. After applying the paint, you can chalk and stick magnets all over any flat surface. Chalkboard Magnetic Paint isn’t new, but people are constantly coming up with innovative uses for it. You can view a couple room transformations at Apartment Therapy. A 16 oz. can goes for $35 here.

Design mastermind Joshua Davis has frequently created work worth fawning over since even before this site was in existence. His latest collaboration with Miquelrius, a Spanish brand boasting a vast array of stationery and accessories, is no different. The Long Island based artist’s newest drool-inducing digital images appear emblazoned on a line of high quality apparel that runs the gamut from notebooks to knapsacks and are so pretty you might just want to hang them up on your wall, buy some wine and cheese and host a gallery opening. If you’re not into playing host then you’d do perfectly fine to just use any in the line of products for their preferred practical purposes.

Most people like to let the quality of their work do the talking, but sometimes one’s workspace can say as much about a person as what gets done in that area. That’s the basic idea behind Where We Do What We Do, a site dedicated to office and occupational arrangements of people just like you… or maybe people who are not like you at all because they’re total neat freaks and you’re a filthy slob, or vice versa. The home page consists of a mosaic of clickable cubicles and computer desks. Each photo gives way to a profile that tells you a little about each person behind the scenes– as if you hadn’t made up your own back story for them already. Perhaps you should join up and see how the other half works, or better yet, show them where you do what you do.

As you get older, you tend to forget about majestic mid-day siesta that is nap time. When you’re a kid, there’s no better time (except for recess) than bunking down on your He-Man mat with a handful of juice and cookies and a head full of addition and subtraction problems. But, the time has come again for the afternoon snooze. The Nappak is essentially an inflatable bounce-house that blows up to a small cubicle. Well, not that small. If we had to choose between this and a bedroll, we’d risk a little embarrassment for the sake of comfort. Now if it only had some sort of curtain we could take our pants off.
