7-Eleven just announced the conversion of all “participating stores” to be temporary Kwik-E-Marts (or at least they did on the radio…I have yet to track down a news release). The lucky girl I am, I happen to live near one of the original 12 Kwik-E-Marts for the Simpsons Movie promotion. The San Francisco area store is actually in Mountain View, near nothing except the Google Campus, and I think it's time for a low-down on what not to miss and what to skip.

My favorite offering has to be the Blue Woo Hoo! Vanilla Squishee, a concoction that tastes like vanilla frosting…on ice. While I chose to have a pure Squishee, the thought of having one with the standard coke and cherry Slurpee mix is mind-boggling. While it’s awesome to see the KrustyO's, I recommend skipping them…unless you really want the box or would love to pay close to $4 for generic Fruit Loops. The Kwik-E-Marts are doing very well — not that surprising, really — so even if you're not looking for a sugar rush, go check them out. You can find the list of participating stores here.

The friendly people over at Volkswagen are at it again, producing an amazing little car and great promotions to go with it. The Audi presence can definitely be felt throughout, especially in the front façade, and with a top speed of 130 mph and 7.1 second 0-60 time, it's definitely got Fast. That's right! It literally comes with Fast! In Volkswagen's latest promotion, you receive their mischievous, customizable, little character “Fast” from those funny commercials along with the purchase of your GTI. Fast comes with your choice of 4 different tails, which really add to his character. The car isn't so bad either and has tons of options, including a navigation system, dual DVD players, iPod adapter, and a snazzy plaid interior. Plus, after designing your GTI you can “test drive” it with a German fraulein by your side, in a film that changes according to the options you chose. Unfortunately, Fast has quite a price tag, $21,990, since the only way to get one is to buy the new GTI. So, if you are lucky enough to get one just remember, keep your Fast under control! If you haven’t seen any of the Fast commercials you can check one, although not my favorite, out here

Hypebeast has some great pictures from the History of Air Event in Berlin last night. The Nike Spirit Room in Berlin was completely rebuilt to look like a laboratory or research center. If you haven’t already seen the pictures of the Air Max Nike iD sneakers, check those out too. It has been an exciting week for sneaker junkies!
