The IDEA Slim Calculator: A minimal and slim solar powered calculator made out of a comfy rubber. The calculator was designed to be easily carried around with notebooks. Math made sexy.
A dead sexy mobile device. The real question I have is all about functionality though. Ceramic, sapphire crystal glass and in 18k red gold for 42,000 euros, or stainless steel for 7,250 euros.
Æsir, a new Copenhagen-based, design-focused mobile phone company is challenging some of the world’s leading designers to bring fresh thought to mobile phone design. Its inaugural phone, the +YvesBéhar, created by Yves Béhar, is launching in Spring 2011 followed by ongoing collaborations with a spectrum of visionary designers that will see further Æsir editions introduced.
Danish entrepreneur, Thomas Møller Jensen, founded Æsir in 2007 after reading a newspaper article which questioned why no one had succeeded in bringing strong industrial design to the mobile handset market. Armed with an appreciation for design, an interest in technology and an entrepreneurial spirit, Jensen set out to address the void.

Walnut, chestnut, mahogany, ash. Not typical materials you would find in the construction of USB drives. Lambria brings us a line of 2GB USB drives made entirely by hand representing cute little animals.
There are 5 animals from which you can choose: the dog, elephant, the gosling, the wild boar and the turtle. The packagings of these USB drives are well thought out with every animal designed in its natural environment: the bone for the dog, the pond for the gosling, the motor-racing track for the turtle, the forest for the wild boar and the savannah for the elephant.
Step right up, step right up. This here is your only chance to get a Jambox before they’re released next week.
All you need to do is tweet this phrase and on Friday a very lucky person will be chosen at random to receive one of the first Jambox’s on the market:
Yo @joshspear, I want to win a @JawboneEarwear #JAMBOX before anyone else. Pick me so I can Jam out first! (RT to Win!) http://bit.ly/bqAhvx
How awesome is that? Go, go, go!
Gulp. Gorgeous. This Titanium M9 by Walter de’Silva is wish list material.
A camera spawned out of the engineering know-how of design teams like that of Audi, chief Audi designer, Walter de’Silva fathers the Leica M9 Titanium. Breeding only 500 Units, everything from the solid titanium, sapphire-crystal glass coatings, premium leather, and LED lights are materials used in the manufacture of their stored cars.
Now this is a concept I want made!
Noise cancellation earphones eliminate ambient noises so that you can listen to music clearly or sleep peacefully in the drone. But how about the time that you want to filter out the electronic noises of machines etc. in your environment, and hold a conversation with your co-worker? The Kill Noise earplug suits this purpose and realizes noise reduction by electronic filtering, which can make people communicate easily in the noisy environments. The bright-orange polyester buds have an adjustment knob to set the filters and a built-in battery that lasts long.
Pretty shnazzy. The tyPad turns your iPad into a fully functional laptop (minus the mouse part) with this leatherette case that has a built-in wireless keyboard, for $129.
