I’m back in the USA for a few days after an incredible time in China and Japan. I’m here for about a week before I head off again to Abu Dhabi, Oman, Japan, and then South Africa and Mozambique. I was trying to find a good way to show the travel I’ve done over the past two months and found this nifty little site called Tripline. You can watch my flights like a movie now.
Amazing. I wish Don’t Fear the Internet was around when I started playing on the web. Consider sending this to everyone you know.
Are you a print designer, photographer, fine-artist, or general creative person? Do you have a shitty website that you slapped together yourself in Dreamweaver in that ONE web design class that you took in college? Do you not have a site at all because you’ve been waiting two years for your cousin to put it together for you? Well, we’re here to help. We know that you have little to no desire to do web design professionally, but that doesn’t mean that you want an ugly cookie-cutter site or to settle for one that hasn’t been updated since Hackers was in theaters.
Through short tutorial videos, you’ll learn how to take a basic wordpress blog and manipulate the css, html (and even some php!) to match your aesthetic. You’ll feel empowered rather than crippled by the internet and worst case scenario you’ll at least end up having a better idea of how professional web designers turn your design dreams into a reality on screen.
Another great one from Nalden.
If you’re on Twitter, you may have noticed that some accounts display a blue “Verified Badge” on their bio (mine does). It’s used to establish authenticity of well known accounts so users can trust tweets are legit. Now, the infamous verified status symbol enters the real world. Verify yourself offline.
All that verification is just 15 Euros! Very clever.
On the Cicli Maestro Milano website you can customize by color every attribute of your Italian made bike. Frame, rims, tires, spokes, saddle, handlebar, handles. Even the crankset and chain colors. All made to order in Milan and shipped to your door. A rainbow of cycling opportunities. Fantastic!
Take a picture of a picture from the past in the present. It’s Dear Photograph– and it’s totally beautiful.
