The Prize: Would you rather bomb hills than countries? Skate or die? We’re serving up one customized Strike longboard from our friends at New Jersey’s Bustin Boards. It’s like Choose Your Own Adventure — if your adventure consisted of graphic, color, scheme, trucks, wheels, etc. This one comes with Randal 180mm trucks and Bustin Boca wheels, with an option to upgrade your prize for a little extra cash.

The Rules: In the COMMENTS section, name your favorite hill. (Blueberry, Hamburger and King Of are already taken). Only one entry per reader. Duplicate entries will be discarded.

The Deadline: Contest is open now through 12/12

J Hibb Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 9:37 am

Its not famous, but harmel hill is where i first witnessed my buddy encounter the speed wobbles. After that road rash i have used tight trucks ever since.

timeshifted Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 9:46 am

I’d have to go with Austria, if you’re really looking for something insane with views to match. Wish I knew the route and mountain roads.

M to the B Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 2:10 pm

What do you get when you combine horrible scripts and even worse acting (both pawned of as a slice of frail, superficial reality)?

That’s right, The Hills – the most redonkulous fucktarded piece of shit to ever hit “pop” culture.

Jeff Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 4:22 pm

The hill from the song “Jack and Jill”.

Must have been a big hill for both of them to fall down simultaneously.

n braun Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 4:28 pm

clearly Mission Hill. quality television programming that went to the boob tube in the sky after only one season..

Justin McCammon Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 4:30 pm

How about “Hills” the old department store. Anyone remember that? I can still taste those soft pretzels…

Miriam Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 5:41 pm

I would have to say Hippie Hill in San Francisco– one of the last places in america where hippies truly rule. Drum circles, green bud, pot chocolates, street kids, homeless people, old hippies, dogs, hoola hoopers, families, kids, tourists…what more could you ask for?

Bob Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 9:04 pm

Erica Hill (Anderson Cooper’s sidekick)

Ryan P Wednesday, 12.10.08 @ 10:31 pm

The most awesome hill ever is “Suicide Hill” located in the heights section of Brooklyn, NY.

Check the vid link of some kids bombing the famed hill.

The name of the street has since escaped me, but the memories of the hill will never fade. It rose to the middle of the neighborhood where I grew up. It represented a rite of passage on many levels every kid who lived nearby. The first time you could pedal all the way up with out stopping or putting a foot down – Gaining the courage to coast down, feet off the pedals – graduating to a skateboard, carving turns and imagining you had just been transported from the Midwest to the North Shore. Then, in step with the freestyle craze of the 80’s, I found myself standing on the frame of my bike, speeding down the hill, much to the dismay of my mother. That hill inspired the construction of many go-karts, as well, helped to support Band-Aid sales. I’m sure that, if I were to go back today, I would laugh at the actual scale of the hill, but in the mind of an 8 year-old, it was Everest.
