Hong Kong Designers for ODM have created a scrolling watch that won the prestigious 2004 reddot design award, and the IF design award in China. These unique watches scroll messages like “Save the forest” “World Peace No War”, and some special editions with messages like “To be great is to be simple” and “Tough times never last”. The minimalist watch hides all the buttons and knobs inside the thick rubber band, and to change modes, you don’t need to press these buttons, a gentle flick of the wrist changes modes. “A patented chip detects a deliberate shake and changes the mode of the watch accordingly; distinguishing between a deliberate shake and the normal swinging of the arms.”
I’ll take one in white. Thanks.
