I’m totally digging the fashion design from the folks at Gentle Fawn. Their Spring ‘05 collection is distinctive and sharp. Ladies, check it out. A husband and wife team are behind all these designs. Gentle Fawn was spawned from a ceramic Fawn figurine while they were shopping for vintage furniture. They say their designs are influenced by the 40’s, 50’s , and interior design with simple architectural elements, among other things.

Holy conceptual design. Desio, some type of design or housing company in Japan has an amazing website. It has a seriously impressive flash interface, you get to drop little people in rooms and zoom in to see details of the house. It reminds me of The Sims video game. You can compare everything to reference plans and the mouse navigation is really smooth. Fun to play with, anyone wanna give us a proper translation of what exactly it is that they do though?

I thought I’d mention I’m trying out the new Blackberry 7100t on T-Mobile right now. I’ve been hopping between cell phones for a while now, searching for one that really fits my lifestyle and needs the best. I need mobile e-mail, a calendar, and a keyboard has really played a huge part in my decision process. I’ve used a Treo 600 for some time, but it just felt too damn big and bulky–and lacked things like Bluetooth. You can read my first impressions of the 7100t over on Coolhunting where I’m a daily contributor. I must say though that I’m getting more and more used to the predictive text input on the keyboard, and it handles email very well. I’ve started installing some 3rd party applications and everything is working to my liking so far–plus it’s light as ever, feels like a regular cell phone to me in comparison to the Treo.
