This is Adrian, he loves music, shares your music tastes and would love to show you his personal record collection–oh just one more thing, Adrian isn’t real. He’s apart of a high resolution wall covering called “The Single Wallpaper“. Apparently the wallpaper is so realistic, they are life sized “housemates” that don’t make any noise, don’t leave the cereal out, and don’t need any attention. Single-Wallpaper was created by two german designers; Andrea Baum and Susanne Schmidt. They have a few different ‘flat mates”, and some great modern designs. They’re also removable, so you can re-use them if you move.

No, this is not a game console, a printer, or even a scanner. It’s a new sandwich, panini, and waffle maker, made by Krups. I’m a huge fan of anything this well designed–minimal, yet so completely functional. It boasts all the features you would expect from Krups, 850 watts of heat for fast cooking, and enough room for 2 “generous” sized Belgian waffles at a time. Best of all–it can be stored vertically, like a Playstation 2. A totally beautiful design, after my sandwich loving-minimalist design adoring, heart.
