Copenhagen was a blast, tomorrow I’m off to Berlin for the week. I’ve heard Berlin is basically the hottest city in Europe right now– and everyone I know who has been in the past few years, agrees. This will be my first time to Germany, and I’m excited. I wonder if Adidas is cheaper there. Doubtful… very doubtful. I’ve received a few great tips so far, but as usual if you have any good tips for hunting around Berlin, send them my way.

WoodWood was an interesting shop on Krystalgade– another signature Copenhagen side street. The shops name matches the wood interior, from top to bottom, floor to ceiling–everything was made completely out of wood– Although i’m still not sure why. They had a nice mix of clothing (including their own WoodWood Couture line), designer toys, a lot of books (Yes, more Terrysworld), gifts, and a small wall of sneakers. This shop boasted the most limited edition Adidas stuff I’d seen all trip. They had a few rare Adidas watches, and several copies of the Leather Bound Adidas 35th Anniversary Book. A fun shop, with a nice atmosphere.

I stopped by Hotel FOX to have a peak inside, it was really a trip– it looked great! If you haven’t heard about the hotel, or Project Fox in general, here’s a quick explanation. The whole project was a big deal put on by Volkswagen to promote the new VW Fox. They created a club, a studio, and of course a hotel. They took an existing hotel in downtown Copenhagen, gutted it completely, and had 21 international artists customize 61 rooms. Each room is an individual piece of art, and the lobby is very unique as well. Definately the hottest hotel going in Copenhagen right now.
