A9 Maps, an Amazon owned company, has one of the nicest city mapping resources I’ve ever found. It uses an updated looking Mapquest, with a google maps feel– and most interesting are the “block view images”, which allow you to see images from both sides of the street in large portions of major cities. You can literally walk up the street, scanning slide by slide as you go!

ONTOUR Clothing is run by 3 creative guys in The Netherlands, inspired by stories, narratives, and age old fables. These shirts are inspired by “The Bremen Town Musicians”, with reoccurring characters of a dog, cat, rooster, and donkey that meet one another on tour. They were all fed up having to work for a boss, so they all took a chance to live their dream, and become ‘town musicians’. The story after translation is a little shaky, but the shirt designs are really fun– and is the story of the designers, who realized there own dream; to start their own clothing label. The shirts are produced in limited numbers– and future series will all have new quirky characters from these age old fables.
