A friend from South Africa introduced me to a pretty distinct new line of footwear called Tagür. As they put it, they aren’t claiming to be the originiators, they’re just going to ‘do it right’. They fuse some new school shoe making technlogy with a classic leather sneaker cut and all those little details that makes us love sneakers in the first place. The concept behind Tagür is to give the consumer the ability to ‘be the producer’– and customize their sneaker easily. The shoes are available in basic white and black leathers, and each come with a few paint pens to get customizing, or ‘tagging’ with. Looks like these puppies will be hitting stores this December, just in time for the holidays.

Freudama & Sodele have a very beautiful collection of jewelry– their rings, or ‘Finger guests‘ are really the gems. They’re described as pleasantly wearable acrylic rings, and a piece of slide film loads into the top and locks in, adding a personalized touch. You can choose between 23 images on their website– or create your own personalized fingerprint. They also have a hand full of other styles with work in both metal and polyurethane.
