I just added some of the funky adidas All Black’s into my shoe mix over here at the headquarters. They’re from the famed adidas Oddity collection, a wacky line of funky mismatched colors, patterns, and fabric swatches. I got them online from Commonwealth, a great shop with all sorts of footwear, tee’s, and accessories. It was a tough choice to get these puppies, I’m still drooling all over the super crazy Rising Star Odditys– I’ll have to get those ones soon, too.

By now you probably all know I’m in love with Jason Gregory’s handmade MAKR leather wallets– it’s really my all around favorite wallet. Great too look at, smooth to the touch, and incredibly functional. Gregory, a self taught leather worker recently collaborated with JS friend and über designer Chuck Anderson of No Pattern. (I covered some of Anderson’s work with UpperPlayground a while back) The results are a special edition No Pattern meets MAKR wallet— and it looks gorgeous! By the way, Chuck Anderson recently updated his website, check it out, the MAKR collaboration is just one of the many interesting things he’s up to.

My blogger pal Notcot found some really nice products with unusually great patterns. Deadly Squire is a collaboration between Anna and Tim Harrington, initially attracted to one another by their art and personal style– when they finally got together and collaborated they made some beautiful stuff. They printed the patterns on everything from pot holders to sketchbooks– but their skateboard design is really my favorite.
