1201am is a collection of handmade paper goods by Laurie Forehand, a graphic designer who studied at the Art Institute of Atlanta for Visual Communication. Her designs are really sharp and interesting, a nice change from the stale and boring world of stationery. Her favorite color is red-orange, and she makes stationery to help encourage people to pick up a pen again and practice the lost art of letter writing. I love the Letterpress Notecards, and Decorative Postcard sets.

I received some great pictures of an event AM-Radio recently did for adidas. They had several artists creating live murals to help promote the launch of their Muhammed Ali line. The paintings were created by an artist collective which goes by the name ‘ ARTWORK MBILASHAKA‘. Five artists and a DJ collaborate in front of a live audience. The DJ pumps out the beats, and artists blend their ideas on canvas. Really hot looking work!
