It’s that time again for the yearly weblog awards, aka the 2006 Bloggies. Pretty please go and nominate me for whatever you see fit. I’ll settle with best-kept-secret weblog but wouldn’t be angry if you also put a nod in for my site as weblog of the year. Voting ends on Tuesday, January 10th. Thanks for your support!

Furni has some wonderful and inexpensive household items and accessories. Mike GIles and Devin Barette formed furni, a montreal based design company ‘offering an alternative to cookie cutter lifestyles. My favorite pieces are definitely their clocks– like this unique digital clock framed in a beech veneer casing. All the accessories are named after famous skaters, but best of all, the work is totally affordable!

I’ve had some nice correspondence with the guys who run CoolBusinessIdeas.com this week. I’ve been following their site for a while and it has proven to be a great source of inspiration and ideas. In a nutshell, they’re dedicated to ‘gathering brand new business ideas, innovations and ventures from around the world. From personalized cookies to condo hotels to voicevertising.’ They have spotted more than 700 business ideas around the world, from Sweden to South Korea. Great resource, definitely worth checking out!
