The wild tape-artist and DC-based street prankster Mark Jenikns is at it again. Last year he placed “tape babies” around the city for his STORKER project. This time around he wrapped parking meters with colored tape to resemble lollipops, or Metro Pops as he calls them. The pictures are priceless! If you haven’t seen Jenkins’ art before, make sure to check out the pictures of some his past installations from around the world.

Peter Mitchell has some new intriguing work up. If you’re not familiar with Mitchell’s work, he’s a freelance illustrator for clients like the LA Times, Boston Globe, Saturday Night Live and several other major media outlets. I really adore the edgy, quirky and honest style in his artwork–definitely check out the new pieces.
