One of my favorite t-shirt lines rxmance recently launched their Spring 2006 line. The Boulder, CO natives keep pushing the boundaries with extremely soft cotton (seriously guys, where do you find this stuff!?) and as always, edgy hand-screened designs. The 44’s t-shirt from last May will forever remain one of my favorite t-shirts. Check out their new spring line, and drop an email to them encouraging them to launch an online shop. Right now their stuff is only available in physical stores. I promised them they’d see a splash online– their stellar designs deserve it.

I love it when any artist takes hold of a trend like mashups– and not only encourages, but enables the fan to be creative. The Beastie Boys placed a whole slew of their a capellas on the web for download– all or your own personal use to make remixes and mashups. “Share your remixes, talk turkey and more over at the Beazley Boys Remix Forum.”

Time Magazine has a nice article about the bubbling sneaker culture around the world– a culture that has helped propel the slow-growth athletic-shoe biz’ to more than a $15 billion industry today. If you’re still trying to grasp the whole sneaker culture concept, give this article a read. This bit was a little over the top for me though: Thomas, 21, reflected on how much getting the shoes meant to him. “Shoes run my life,” he said. “Without shoes, I don’t exist.” Ah, how dedicated.
