Triko is a brand founded by Hector Estrada, after years of designing for some of the biggest names in the street-wear market he decided to set out on his own to build a premium brand with what he proclaims to be a soul. His brand celebrates individuality, creativity, and is built for those truly interested in pursuing and mastering the Art of Life. All that aside, point blank we dig his hoodies, pop by his nice site and check them out. We are big James Bond fans, and I think Josh would agree with me– we always have been. While we are pretty excited for ‘Casino Royale‘ to come to theaters on Friday, we are deep down suckers for the oldies. Today we stumbled upon a retro-Bond gold mine at CityofFilms.com– its a collection of YouTube clips of all of the intros to all of the 007 films to date; from ‘Dr. No,’ to ‘Die Another Day,’ it covers them all– all of the vixens, all of the saucy female vocals, all of the colored silhouettes and mirror effects– for your viewing pleasure, enjoy.

I really dig this new Invicid Hoodie, called ‘Tanks on Broadway.’ It’s new for Winter 06, hand-screened, and has inside pattern prints of grenades– basically all the good stuff we’ve come to expect from our friends in Seattle. We’ve posted Invicid before, but I thought I would send you all back to check out the new-for-the-holiday-season line up. Also check out the new ‘Black Heart Squadron‘ t-shirt– I always loved fighter jets.

Format Magazine issue #3 is live, and has some stellar articles including a feature-interview with the super-mysterious M-dot from JB Classics. Other great articles include chats with Raekown, Jor One, Peter Fahey, Gabriel Urist and more. Check out Format Magazine and enjoy.

From the look of it, the minds over at Seattle’s Section Seven, Inc. are creative and bright to say the least. For starters, their own website emanates that ‘talk the talk’ vibe, with laterally moving cross-hare navigation and a flip-book style interface (Flash greatness you really have to see to believe). When you finally delve into the content of the site, you will see that this ’small creative design and development office’ is more than meets their own site’s design, with ‘jump out of the page’ graphics– there to breathe life and organization into the ideas that Section Seven is poised to implement for their customers. One thing’s for sure, if I need to build a ‘blow your brains out site’ in the near future, I’m going to these guys.

Pop Cling is a company full of talented artists and designers, humorous quips, put-anywhere prints, and limited edition skateboard decks so pretty you may cry after your first front-side board-slide. Their decks use a fresh digital printing technology, and as a result, the nice people at Pop Cling recommend that the decks be used primarily as art objects. But I have number 35 out of a total-made 100 of the The Fungus Queens Deck sitting in front of me right now, and it appears to be as poppy as it is pretty, just begging for some grip tape to be put on ‘er. Each deck comes with a certificate of authenticity, so in the case you do decide to use the skateboard in the way God intended, at least you’ll have some evidence that you at one time had in your possession a mint condition Pop Cling Deck.

Boogie, the infamous street-photographer has a show coming up on November 17th, 2006 at 36 Powell Street in Vancouver. Boogie originally born in Serbia migrated to the US in ‘98. His work has appeared in Rolling Stone, Vice, among many other publications. His new book of behind the scenes street life, It’s All Good is available now through Powerhouse Books. We don’t know how Boogie, now Brooklyn dwelling got his street credibility to go deep into the gang-life for photo opportunities the way he does– but we sure are impressed. Full flyer after the jump.
