This will probably mark the seventeenth time these sunnies pop up in your RSS feed today, but we can’t really help it, because something about this Oakley x Supreme collab is too tasty to stay buttoned up about. Oakley Frogskins are already pretty heartwarming — in that “Yo! MTV Raps,” reflective lenses kind of way — but leave it to Supreme to do the one thing OG’s do best… cover those babies in shiny metal. If a pair of these Gold or Chrome super shades are putting a tear in your eye, get to (or send your holiday elf to) Supreme’s online shop on Monday (November 19th), where they will be up for sale before they hit NY, LA and Japan stores a few days later.

It seems like everyone these days finds inspiration in being Eco-Friendly. It’s not just Al Gore anymore. With Television networks, politicians, car companies, amongst others all jumping on the bandwagon, it should come as no surprise that artists are also caught up in what is hopefully a lasting trend.

While art and industry may sometimes make strange bedfellows, ROJO, the Barcelona-based artist consortium, have found themselves a muse in the new smart fortwo, the fuel efficient two-passenger vehicle from smart, a collaboration between Penske and Mercedes Benz. The product of this inspiration is the latest issue of ROJO’s coveted design books entitled ROJO(R)fortwo. The special issue contains artwork from the likes of Catalina Estrada, MWM, Deanne Cheuk, Yoshi Sodeoka, Tofer, Alex Prager, Friends with You, Ben Summers, Dalek, Holly Stevenson, Chet Purtilar, Jemma Hostetler, Meomi, Yoshi Tajima, Evgeny Kiselev, Vanessa da Silva, Bruno 9li, Cristiano Trindade, Todd Tourso, Amir H. Fallah, Justine Ashbee and Sergei Sviatchenko.

If all of that artistic firepower isn’t enough to get you excited, then perhaps the special offer will do the trick. To celebrate the launch of the new smart fortwo in USA; ROJO is offering a 25% discount on the two special printed issues dedicated to smart two special printed issues dedicated to smart. If taking advantage of that offer doesn’t make you feel brainy, we don’t know what will.

We know you look back fondly on those high school days of zoning out to your trippy Pink Floyd black light poster in your bedroom, and while you may have outgrown that zoning out phase that doesn’t mean you’ve outgrown the need for having your wall illuminated with imagery. Jonas Samson has designed a high-tech, light-emitting wallpaper proving it “possible to use a two-dimensional flat surface as light source instead of a 3D object.” So not only can you toss that black light, maybe you should say goodbye to your desk lamp that you’re always knocking over as well. There’s a new light fixture in town, and it’s on your wall.

However, if you should feel like giving your new light emitting wallpaper a rest from its illumination duties, it retains its effectiveness as plain ol’ wallpaper. If your other wallpaper starts to get jealous and begins to light up you may just have poltergeists in your home at which point we’d recommend relocation to somewhere not built on an Indian burial ground.

Hello, Mr. Future Nigel Barker; how well you work that lens! Or maybe it’s wrong to associate you with any photographer currently working the America’s Next Top Model circuit, because at only 21 you are already worthy of a distinct name of your own- the name Elias Tahan, to be exact.

Still a student, Elias shoots high fashion impressively well, utilizing the subjects, set, lighting, and story with the skill of a seasoned professional. Barely a single cliche one typically finds in the portfolios of young photographers can be found in Elias’s work, which is a characteristic both marked and intimidating. Judging by the models used in Elias’s shoots, we’re not the only one’s recognizing the Los Angeles based Elias as an incredibly credible new talent — take a browse through his photographs to see what the future looks like.

There’s a reason why Swedes make us jealous, and it’s not because the boys are golden gods and the girls are boobalicious ice queens. No, the real reason is that in every young Swede’s kindergarten curriculum, there exists a segment called “How to Dress Yourself So Other People Want to Be You,” during which time their no doubt incredibly good-looking teachers teach their students how to look damn near perfect. We managed to get our hands on a leftover worksheet from one of these kindergarten style classes, and even though it was a word scramble that required a Swedish dictionary and every limited edition crayon color ever made to complete, we did eventually find unearth the secret website hidden in the jumbled alphabet. It was Shelta.eu, and as soon as we ditched our crayons for our mouses we realized that this was something we needed to share. Aside from stocking most of the shoe and streetwear brands you know and love, Shelta stocks a bunch of Europe’s/Sweden’s own urban deliciousness, and – huge surprise – it is as awesome, if not awesome-er, than what we have going on inside the US. One more surprise: Shelta just went global, meaning you can bring some of that flaxen sex appeal stateside should inspiration strike. And god we hope it does.

Zach Slow had a dream. That dream was to go on a date with UK Rapper Lady Sovereign. After turning that dream into a reality in June of 2006 and following the passing of his father, Mr. Slow has moved onto another dream. This dream isn’t such an odd one, it’s one most people can identify with. He simply wants to get married. However, it’s the manner in which he’s doing it that may not be so normal.

Armed with a website and a novel idea, Zach and his (gay) friend Tanner recently began a quest for wedded bliss. At 2Husbands, potential wifeys post videos to the site pitching why they’re the perfect match for either Zach or Tanner. However, they can’t double dip. They have to pick between one or the other. Once 500,000 votes have been cast, that’s it. Zach and Tanner will marry the ladies with the most votes. While the idea seems vulnerable to a little American Idol type ballot stuffing, the suitorettes themselves aren’t allowed to vote. It’s up to web surfers everywhere to choose whom the two lucky ladies are at the cost of $2 per vote.

If you’re wondering what incentive these women might have to rush down the aisle, I’d say it’s the prospect of finding true love…or money. On second thought it’s probably the $50,000 that each winning bride gets, but maybe just maybe true love will win out over all. A boy can dream.

Jeff Canham is a man of the surf and sand. Hailing from Hawaii, he has never been far from the placid waters of the Pacific. A frequent reader of Surfer Magazine growing up, he would later move to Orange County to serve as the publications art director. Canham has since relocated to San Francisco where the surfing’s a plenty and where he has more than enough of time to focus on making signs for his day job at the New Bohemia Sign Shop.

When he’s not hard at work designing standout signs for shops around town…he’s out hanging ten on the surf and when he’s not doing that he manages to work on his own brand of eye catching canvases that give a nod towards his experience catching waves. Keeping himself constantly immersed in the ways of the wave rider has no doubt influenced Canham’s aesthetic, as many of his creations are covered in terms and nautical images related to surf conditions. Hanging his astounding work in your home might just give you a taste of the West Coast in your home…but it may make you hesitant to brave the choppy waters of your own bathtub.

Yesterday, swissmiss posted a single shot by Swiss photographer Loan Nguyen. Why I waited until this morning to look into her other images is beyond me because I was absolutely floored by the first shot I saw — the shot posted here. The sense of scale and proportion, leading to the feeling that the wall continues on into eternity is…I don’t know…impressive doesn’t seem to cut it.

Loan, has shot editorial spreads, fashion pieces, as well as a slew of personal shots. Have a look at her series from Vietnam, it captures the people and the locations beautifully. I’m a fan, there’s no question about that.
