Let's start things off right by saying this: Wow, did we love that Hand Job. Not that that's an atypical reaction for us (we'll take hand-drawn ABC's over Photoshop-perfected ones anytime), but regardless, that book just felt good in our hands.

Well Happy Friday to us, because the man behind Hand Job — the creatively inclined, Brooklyn-based Michael Perry — has just given us another. Over & Over, a book of people-drawn patterns, stays clear of the sexual innuendo that initially got our attention, but still manages to keep our attention in the same way that (your favorite punny porno title here) does. Or doesn't, or used to, or…hey. Sometimes, we just prefer a book.

It’s amazing how advanced, yet accessible, high quality models and illustration have become. If you’re a sneakerhead, or just plain appreciate artistic talent, check out Jim Kim’s portfolio, titled “Sneaker Fiend: A Tribute To Classic Nike Design,” on Behance. This talented artist showcases a series of completely rendered Nike designs with a clear nod to fan favorites such as the Air Max 90’s and a couple of Jordans, complete with the signature Jumpman. At first glance, one might mistake them for real sneakers in an elaborately staged for a photo shoot. The textures, right down to the speckled leather and the reflective elements really bring this series home. Some of our favorites after the jump.

It may be no longer be summer, but that doesn’t mean you have to put that sweater on just yet. You can still squeeze out a few more weeks of T-shirt time (it’s 75 degrees out today people!). You’re a unique individual and you should have a shirt that reflects that. The folks at Frustone are believe the wearer makes the apparel and so they’ve come up with several designs for their ever so soft bamboo cotton tees. The inventive company is the result of the travels of an Italian director/editor and his Aussie ladyfriend who decided to cultivate their own creative universe based on the people they met whilst traveling. The collaboration resulted in a number of tees with a varying number of cultural themes ranging from music to literature and language that never fail to entreat your artistic and fashion sensibilities. Check them out in the Frustone online shop.

I love listening to my iPod while I’m on the go but I hate having to deal with the wires. I always end up accidentally ripping my earphones out because they get in the way. Luckily, Icelandic design firm Preggioni has just released a genius solution to keep those loose wires neat and tidy. The Magneat lets you adjust your earphones to the perfect length, while two strong magnets are used to safely fasten the wire to any garment. Take that, flailing arms.

It’s been a while since the fine work of Richie Gleason has graced our site. The NYC-based art director had a hand in creating some serious designs for the now defunct A Blank Project back in ‘06. Thankfully, Gleason is back and he’s moved onto much bigger things. This time around he’s wowing us with some illustrations that adorn a line of limited edition T-shirts created exclusively for the Hilfiger Denim label. Each creation features an animal themed design along with clever slogans that trendy people and people who don’t live in Williamsburg are sure to dig.

Richard Trocino, CEO and designer of the OHSO travel toothbrushes I’ve been raving about for years has just given me a sneak peak on the next product, the OHSO Presto– and we think it’s sexy. They dramatically reduced the price this time, and it will land somewhere between $7.00 and $9.00 a unit. It will be available in five bright colors (shown after the jump). I said it two or more years ago, and I’ll say it again: OHSO makes the sexiest toothbrushes in the world, period. But, we’re going to have to wait until after the holidays for this one. More pictures after the jump…
