Shorties were climbing on chairs and resorting to dowels to get their stickers as high up on the wall as possible outside Eastpak’s Aquario space last weekend at its Sticker Exhibition show, the latest fun partnership between Eastpak and street artists. After Brazilian collectors Jair Cordeiro, Joao Correia and Alejandro Akira had received stickers from 170 artists in 25 countries, they figured it’d only be fitting to mount an exhibit, so they gathered their collections for display, but added another element: Everyone was invited to also bring their own stickers and get stickering in between all the free ice cream and beer served at the event (thinking about that now, those two would have made some great beer floats). Drunken stickering? The results were pretty rad, even if this photo I took came out a little blurry (full size after the jump). Check out more photos here. The show moves on to Rio de Janeiro after Nov. 15.

When you first purchased your brand new iPhone you probably thought you were getting the most malfunction-free electronic device since Benjamin Franklin invented the digital watch (or something). What you’ve most likely since discovered is that the Apple gods are indeed fallible and that no product is without its glitches. In an attempt to solve the shortcomings of your superphone, Fullsix NY has launched Please Fix the iPhone, a site dedicated to improving the functionality of your iPhone and alerting Apple to the specific defects infecting your phone of the future. The site allows owners to vote on which issues plaguing their jack of all electronics are the most pressing, so that Steve Jobs and the rest of the nerds can retire to their nerditorium and finally get your favorite gadget working properly. There’s even a version of the site specifically for your iPhone so you can make suggestions as you encounter them.

A San Franciscan looking for, say, a gun necklace to accompany their VP candidate Halloween costume will be happy to know they can find one that was created without leaving a trace. The Appel & Frank Eco-Chic shopping event on Thursday evening at the Regency Center combines sustainable apparel, jewelry and personal care products. Notable vendors include organic and recycled jacket designer JulesElin as well as area winery 7 Daughters. A portion of the proceeds go to Friends of the Urban Forest’s efforts to plant and care for groups of trees in city neighborhoods.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, what do you think a whole mess of pictures is worth? Well, sparing you the difficulties of applying basic math, we’ll tell you the answer may not be several pages of prose. Your pictures could, however, net you some pretty sweet prizes — that is if you should happen to embark on picturesque adventure from Photojojo, i.e Photo Safaris. These snap-happenings are occuring at locations in both San Francisco and New York over the next several weeks, and will feature displays of photographic fun shot by people just like you. The winners of each “Photo Safari” will receive rewards from Photojojo or their sponsors, which include the venerable folks at Gothamist and Adobe.
