Almost in time for Valentine’s Day (you can give your significant other an IOU since the shipping will be late for Saturday’s silly holiday), we’re giving away two gorgeous LELO products. For her: the MIA, an elegant lipstick sized vibrator. Ultra high quality, an intuitive interface with “four modes of stimulation for total control in the midsts of ecstasy” — their words, not mine. And for the men, the BO, a rechargeable, pleasure intensifying ring for couples to enjoy together.

Cheese packaging stinks. And it’s not just because it’s wrapped around a nice aged blue. It seems that when other foodstuffs were getting a much-needed revamp, they forgot all about cheese. Everyone except Marinde van Leeuwen of DesignKAAS. Inspired by tulips, crocheted tablecloths, and Delft Blue, Van Leeuwen went to work designing artistic labels for delicious Dutch cheeses like baby Gouda. There are only a few designs available for order on her site so far, including one that features a poem about cheese by Mirjam Brandenburg and another that showcases a traditional Dutch landscape (complete with windmill).

Spring is just around the corner, and it will soon be time to ditch those heavy winter coats. Of course you’ll still need a nice jacket to help you ease into the summer months. La Merde, the cheekily named clothing company based in Portland, Oregon has just dropped their new Spring 2009 line of jackets and hoodies. I am really digging their use of fine details and high-end materials. Each style has a tailored fit that I can only describe as sophisticated street fashion.

Everybody has neighbors, even if they’re miles away. Those relationships can vary from … well … neighborly to downright cold. And there are probably some things you’d like to say to those people — like stop stealing our paper and replacing it with dog poop. The site Neighbourland allows you to say what you feel — even if you’re too cowardly to go next door and confront them. The project is just getting started, but eventually you’ll be conveying your love or hate in an appropriate way. A fun picture might even soften the blow.

Prolific U.K. doodler Jon Burgerman flies across the pond this week to collaborate with Brooklyn-by-way-of-Berlin pop artist Jim Avignon at Brooklyn’s Factory Fresh. “Anxiety Room” continues a theme familiar to Burgerman fans (as seen in sculptures like WorryKnott and the London installation, Anxiety Wall). On opening night, Thursday, February 12th, Jon and Jim will engage in a live painting called Anxiety Broom. The show runs through March 15th.
