Remember way back when we interviewed Sickboy? Well, when I showed up for the interview I was informed that it was part of a little promotional documentary. Not really being dressed for the occasion I’m glad I didn’t end up on video much, but it turned out really good and captures the whole mood of the Sickboy Stay Free show. You may notice that Sickboy’s face is blurred out to hide his identity. It looks like a witness protection video or something, but I know his true identity… muhahahaha.

The video was shot and produced by Charlie Caselton.

If you happen to be in Genova, Italy this weekend we are super jealous. Not just because of the food, but because Rostarr is unveiling a new body of work titled Oculus Velocitas tomorrow night at the Galleria Il Trifoglio Nero. It is being promoted as a “rebirth of colour”, and if you know Rostarr’s history, black and white has dominated his work. We’ve only seen the painting in digital form, but from what we hear it should be pretty easy to view in person at his upcoming June show in London. We’ll keep you posted. And as for the Oculus Velocitas opening, the exhibition will run until April 4. If anyone makes it out, let us know.

Is Vanilla Ice trying to make his third (or is it fourth?) comeback? From “Ice Ice Baby” to his brief hardcore rocker image, to appearing on the Surreal Life, Robert Van Winkle has made a career out of, well, pretty much one song. And now on Virgin Mobile’s new campaign, Right Music’s Wrongs, he apologizes for the hairdos, the fashion, and the music that have caused us grief over the years. Other equally-guilty musicians like Milli Vanilli, Michael Bolton, Billy Ray Cyrus, and even David Hasselhoff are not apologizing…yet. Visit the site and decide for yourself if Winkle’s still guilty or if he’s redeemed himself.

Tokyo has been a city bursting with innovative design for years, and when husband and wife team Mike and Yuri Albertson (he’s a product designer, she’s a graphic designer) moved there from New York, their leather and paper company Postalco became another part of the growing community. Wallets, bags, envelopes … a creative project centered around a fish jaw. It’s all available in their clean, minimalist style. But one of the more interesting things we found while checking out the site is Tramnesia’s Working, a series of behind-the-scenes videos that focus on Postalco and a few other start-ups. Worth a peek if entrepreneurs talking about their beginnings gets you hot.
