The first question I asked when we met the guys from Airforce Nutrisoda, was “why Airforce?” Then, we learned the story about how once upon a time, a very smart man got fed up with getting sick on planes, and developed their first product, Immune. The concept blossomed from there. What impressed me even more than the functional flavors (my favorite is Radiance, which includes pomegranate and blackberry) is all the great work Airforce Nutrisoda is doing for the world at large. In fact, we’ll be setting them up with some of our favorite charities we'll be working with in the next couple of months. Airforce Nutrisoda may have their claim as “The Original Health Spa in a Can” – but their sodas taste so good with your favorite vodka, that they can also be the cocktail that clears your conscience.

Hey I’ve tried this stuff before and its great! My personal favorite is the Energize and Focus, but they all taste really good and as weird as it may sound, they’re good for ya too.

Forget redbull and all those other energy drinks. This stuff is the REAL DEAL!

I’m a guidance counselor at a middle school in NJ, and this sounds like it would be a perfect fit at the cafeteria.

Where can I find out more about >

“.. the great work Airforce Nutrisoda is doing for the world at large.”

Is it in terms of health or charity? Or Both!? : )

Thanks!

Hey Nev, I work with Airforce Nutrisoda and I saw your question. We like to call ourselves “the good soda”. Tastes good, looks good, and does good.

As for the good that nutrisoda provides, it is in terms of both health and philanthropic support.

Health wise it’s pretty easy to see what we offer. There is zero sugar, few or no calories, no carbs, no sodium and no aspartame. Each flavor is packed with the essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. And unlike some vitamin beverages, nutrisoda is loaded with these nutrients (not just some insignificant percentage).

As for the good we do in the community, for starters we contract with MDI who employs individuals with developmental disabilities at their distribution center in Minnesota . We also work with several great organizations including EDUN clothing line (helping to create employment opportunities in sub Saharan Africa), Dress for Success (which equips economonically disadvantaged women with interview clothing). And our latest project is the “Fresh Air Tour”, which will be focused on planting trees to reduce our carbon footprint and offset the effects of climate change.

If you have any questions, please visit http://www.nutrisoda.com. We also have a dietician on hand to answer any questions you may have about the product itself. Thanks and have a great day!

i’ve tried all of the flavors of airforce Nutrisoda and, with the exception of calm (i actually like it) i thought that the entire product like was well…blah. all of the different flavors have a really lingering, pesky aftertaste–i think because of the artificial sweetener. they are extremely carbonated and absolutely must be tried ice-cold….if not the harsh artifical fruity flavors are way to gross. the packaging really is the only cool thing about this stuff.

i chcekd out the website and the company is looking a bit confused. they are one part soda, one part red bull, one part do-gooder go green save the earth…but they’re only doing the events in very small market. anyways i would say that the drinks are OK but definitely won’t buy them again.

I absolutely love the soda and let me tell you why. I got this soda while I was working the graveyard shift to try something that didnt have a sugar or caffeine explosion in it. Let me tell you, this stuff really works. Not only did it keep me on my toes, I actually had the good concience to know that this stuff is actually helping me vs hurting me, like most energy and soft drinks.

I have referred this drink to all my health concience friends and all of them have enjoyed it. When I try to get regular soda drinkers to it, the reaction has been quite mixed. Some absolutely loved it, others thought it tasted like medicine. My reaction to them is, this is like medicine, this is a soda that is actually good for you! That usually keeps them happy.

I absolutely love this soda!

I tasted the radiant flavor. It was very good and quenches your thirst, unlike other sodas that leave you feeling thirstier. I am concerned, however, with the use of sucralose. How much sucralose does each can contain–and why did the manufacturers choose sucralose over a natural sweetener such as Stevia.

A little late on the posting…but ..

I tried this product about a month ago- lured by the fabulous packaging I bought two cans. I found it pretty awful. I tried -I believe- the lemon/lime?? (the green can)..which was kinda blah, but drank the whole thing. Then I tried slender, thinking I would like it more because I LOVE grapefruit- WRONG! This was so bad I couldn’t finish it. The fake sucralose sweet taste was overwhelming, and the lack of anything real in this drink shines through in the chemically aftertaste. ew. I suppose if you liked/ don’t mind that fake sweetener taste you might like it…but otherwise it’s a serious no-go for me. …And they’re expensive!

Well, the first time I tried this drink was while I was on military duty and it was sold at the commissary so I first thought this was invented by a previous airforce person–HA HA.

But to compare to other drinks–Drinks like redbull and monster are really acquired tastes which I could never get that far to acquire and actually become a drinker of such. I could not get past the taste to be truthful.

The other funny thing was I simply could not find a drink that had some flavor but no aspartame (other than water and I really do not like water, too bland) so when I found this drink, I was really happy. Combined with the above statement, I was a happy camper because I liked the taste and was not drink phenylanaline? and aspartame and everything else.

The only thing now is that I have a hard time finding it where I live….

I was watching your product on the show called “Unwrapped” that the vitamin juice is placed in a vat and heated at a high temperature. I know that most, if not all, vitamins will be completely useless once you heat or cook them. How can this juice possibly be good. And the fact that it only has 15 cal… Modified SUGAR (sucralose) and artificial sweeteners are REALLY hard on the liver. How can something that sounds so good, be so bad for someone? I am terrified to try such a thing.
