The New York Collective for the Arts is holding a great t-shirt competition– and the deadline is quickly approaching– August 13th. The competition is looking for artists to stray away from the boundaries of what traditional t-shirt design has been in the past– and want to see people get crazy–draw, paint, and be inventive on the blank shirt and create a wearable limited edition work of art. The panel, including Adam Glickman– publisher of Tokion Magazine, and Peter Hahn, co-founder of The Turntable Lab in NYC, will choose winners on the 13th. The winning entries will be featured in a temporary exhibition space in the city, or as they’re calling it ‘a NY Collective flash environment’.
