The newest issue of Arkitip Magazine features one of my favorite urban inspired artists, José Parla. I first covered Parla’s work back in February of last year and I’ve enjoyed following over a year of his progress. If you’re unfamiliar with Miami born, Puerto Rican raised, Brooklyn living José Parla– check out his work. He bridges a solid gap between street graffiti “scribbles” and canvas. Or, as he puts it–”Evidence is left on walls by fleeting creators both aware of their message, and oblivious to what I may find in their signs.”
