New York Collective for the Arts is at it again! But this time they’ve teamed up in partnership with Fila to provide a platform for artists to showcase their creativity. The project will roll out in phases, the first phase being a limited edition t-shirt series called Artists Play Too. The collection is meant to bridge each artist’s personal understanding of a union between art and sport. The shirts drop bi-weekly at US Fila stores starting April 2006. Check out the NYC Collective’s website to get a heads up on the artists, they have some familiar faces like Kasper Ledet and our friends over at momimomi. If you’re in NYC on April 6th they’re also having an in-store launch/benefit party. I’m looking forward to seeing the t-shirt designs, sounds like a great project.
