As South by Southwest is gearing up, we wanted to let you know about a gem of a band that will be there. Balmorhea is something of a classical arrangement of cello, violin, guitar, and piano that creates an amazing landscape. It’s the type of lyricless music I listen to while I work, but can still get caught up in. All is Wild, All is Silent is Balmorhea’s third release, but it really feels like they’ve hit their stride on this one. The album hits shops tomorrow, but is available on iTunes today. If you are in Austin this weekend, they are having a CD release party on March 13 at Ballet Austin, as well as playing several events, showcases, etc. during SXSW.
