I literally saw a dozen shops of this caliber throughout Copenhagen, but Norse Projects was another one of my favorite shops. They had the usualll; clothing, books, a few of the usual sneakers, some toys and accessories– but what made Norse stand out was it’s gallery and studio downstairs. I was around for Michael Genovese’s “Cabesa De Gato” opening reception. It was some nice work with an American street flare, on show in the basement. One thing I’ve noticed about all the urban shops in Copenhagen– they love Terry Richardson, and Terryworld is for sale everywhere. He’s like some kind of über-celebrity out here.
