Corey Arnold has a bit of a fanbase around our virtual office. Not surprising, really–in addition to contributions to the likes of Men’s Journal, FHM UK, Adbusters Norway and Italian Rolling Stone, he’s received a grant from the American- Scandinavian Foundation to photograph fisherman and whalers in Northern Norway, been featured in the Discovery Channel’s Dealiest Catch and been nominated for the 2007 Aperture Foundation West book prize. In case that wasn’t a plateful already, he’s got his own exhibition coming up at the Richard Heller Gallery in Santa Monica. Who’d have thought a fisherman would be so busy?
