The Design Idols are a line of posters created to idolize industrial designers in a way that rock and movie stars are. Each poster has a graphical representation of the well-known designer whose visionary work has inspired us in the past, joined with a personal quote on design. They’ve got 10 posters, from a nice collection of designers, like Tom Dixon, Karim Rashid, Michael Young (shown) and Marc Newson. The Design Idols series was created by a young group of Belgian designers, calling themselves the Disorder Collectiv. They’re printed in a limited edition of 1000, and of course every designer was contacted personally and approved the concept and supplied a quote.
