Dialog05 explores the differences between the analog and digital worlds with their latest project
Universal Connectors. A team of industrial designers created a series of consumer products all using USB, as symbol for lifes ‘universal connections’. They say given the current, often exotic uses of USB it would even be argued that there is a ‘USB subculture’– their products are amusing, interesting and thought provoking. Some of my favorites include the ‘datenschutz’ (left), “no access for unauthorized persons” and ‘eternal love’ (right), “It’s all about give and take – synchronize!”– be sure check them all out, they’re great.
