Diesel’s ‘Dirty Thirty’ Limited Edition

You may or may not have heard that it’s Diesel’s 30th birthday. We blogged about a killer worldwide party they are throwing yesterday, but how about some ultra-limited-edition-on-sale-for-one-day-only denim? After all they are a denim company. Thirty thousand jeans have been distributed around the globe to go on sale October 10th — and that’s it. The jeans are quite cheap for limited edition standards (and for Diesel’s standards). For â‚30 and a couple hours waiting in line you can get your hands on a pair of these highly desired jeans. The Dirty Thirtys will be available in physical stores only on October the 10th, then on eBay for god awful price thereafter.

“Limited to 30.000.” It’s a sign of our times that this number counts as “limited”.

Why didn’t they give 30 pairs of pants to 30 hot employees, let them wear it for 30 weeks and then give these pants away to 30 people? Or dig out a bunch of 30 year old pants?

Dishing out 30.000 factory-worn pants that look exactly alike for a bargain 30 bucks is such an extremely cheap shot I wonder why it even gets a mention on here. I don’t mean to be sarcastic, but this is a jubilee-sale, nothing more, nothing less.

Hi Tommi,

I think it is limited by the fact they are on sale for one day only. But I do love your idea of 30 employees spreading jeans around. That would be really cool. I still thought this was interesting so I wrote about it.

So these jeans will not be available online? I can’t get them at a store because there is no Diesel Jean store around my area >__<
