The Danish Design Centre recently held a competition called Element 2005 based on a very simple question: Is it possible to create a new home furnishing element in only eight days? They invited seven of Denmark’s youngest and most promising designers– with a maximum of five years experience and all under the age of 35. The results, an enthusiastic ‘YES!’, are on display at the Danish Design Centre in Copenhagen through the 30th of December. The results I’ve seen online are really gorgeous.
