I’m generally pretty cynical when it comes to travel websites, I think they all do a mediocre-at-best job providing travellers with deals and helping us all make educated decisions about air travel in general. In comes Farecast, an ‘Airfare Prediction’ site with a mission to help us buy our airfare more wisely based their educated ‘guesses’ about airfares rising or dropping based on past data. Finally, a Web 2.0 type travel site packed with features– I’ll be keeping my eye on this one and watching the RSS feeds to my popular destinations see how it does!

this site is a lot like Kayak (http://www.kayak.com/) which shows all airlines and travel sites grouped together with a 90-day price history. if you do check out Kayak, be sure the take a look at their TV spots – pretty funny.

this site is a lot like the other new travel site Kayak. they have a historical view of flight prices and group all airline and travel site prices together. if you check it out, be sure to check out the TV Spots as well – pretty funny.
