For those to whom the gentrification of Glastonbury and Reading Festivals cant come quickly enough, Travelodge’s Travelpod will be very welcome. Measuring 20ft by 8.5ft, it features carpets, a double bed and most importantly, an ensuite toilet and wash basin, and it’s coming to a festival near you on the back of a lorry, for just £26 a night. Keep an eye out for trial runs this summer, and a full launch next year.
