Lots of people are still storing their cash and cards in a beat up leather number that they’ve had since college, and for us there’s now a solid replacement. The Flipside Wallet is a sleek case made from highly durable polymers. It’s set up in two compartments; one for your cards, the other for cash and pictures. While it may appear simple, the Flipside is built to protect your cards from Radio Frequenct Identification Theft, which is now a real threat. Although, the leather wallet protects from identity theft the old fashioned way — by being too ugly to steal.

Reminds me of the Jimi wallet. This one seems much more substantial, and secretive too (RFID-wise). This one holds more cards and cash, too, for when the economy goes on the upswing.

I’ve seen the jimi, but this one definitely tops it. I love how its like a sleek, secretive shell on the outside, but the inside has a beautiful machine aesthetic to it. Love it!

I have to say I am not keen on this. I prefer the minimal design of the Jimi – this looks over complicated and kind of clunky. Plus the Flip Side is three times the price.

I am sticking with my Jimi wallet.

As the previous commenters pointed out, it is similar to the Jimi wallet. I wonder if it is more durable though.

I am on my second Jimi and it seems like I have to buy a new one every year since the hinge closely the top eventually breaks. $15/year isn’t horrible but I wish I didn’t have to throwaway broken plastic.

This wallet just looks sick. But I am little more old-school when it comes to wallets, so I prefer the good, old leather one.

Make ‘em out of something more durable than plastic, and we’ll talk.

It honestly all depends on how much you want to carry. I used to have Jimi but the hinge ended up breaking after a few months, and i always wanted to carry just a little more in it.

The Flipside seems to hold 3 times what the Jimi does, and isn’t too much thicker (Jimi=9/16″ thick, Flipside=11/16″ thick).

It is nice that the Flipside contains EVERYTHING inside it (cash, cards, pics) and locks shut too. I absolutely hate losing things off the jimi’s stupid clip.
