Remember Scott Rench? He is easily one of the most talented and forward thinking and talented sculptors I’ve have ever seen. I mention this because he is going to be showing at the Get It Louder exhibit in China this year–joining 100 other participants from around the globe. 80% of the participants are of Chinese background, half are among the new generation of artists and designers in mainland China, and they say the average age of all artists is 25. There will be over 200 pieces of work in the exhibit from illustration and toys to fashion, architecture, and even animation and short films. Needless to say I suspect this is going to be one stellar line up, and I only wish I could hop over to Shanghai to cover it properly.
