From time to time, we let you know about vehicles that we really want. It is really our way of saying that when we saw a certain car, we couldn’t hold back the drool (example). I realize the Hyanide is not exactly new news to some– and that it is somewhat animalistic– and that it isn’t even an automobile (in a conventional sense), but that doesn’t mean I would kick it out of bed for eating crackers. Quite the opposite in fact– I think young German designers Oliver Keller and Tillman Schlootz came up with quite a thoughtful design for the 2006 Michelin Challenge Design. The competition pitted like minded designers against themselves to come up with a vehicle that would work well in California’s rugged and diverse terrain. Given the insanely cold weather in Colorado this Winter and the icy roads that have resulted, the Hyanide has finally made its way onto my wish list.
