If you’ve been following my site for a while you’re probably familiar with the name Jason Thielke. I discovered the up-and-coming Denver artist last March and since then I’ve been following his progress, which has been remarkable–not to mention awesome to witness firsthand. He left his design job and is doing ‘the art thing’ full time now. Today he stopped by, pulling up his car in front of my office with the back seats and trunk full of new work, like a private traveling art show. This piece, which I’ve dubbed the Sneaker Experiment caught my eye right away, and with my footwear fascination, I knew I had to have it. It’s about 3 or 4 feet wide, much larger and more detailed than it looks in a photo.
