J.J. Abrams: The Mystery Box - Josh Spear, Trendspotting

One of my favorite TED Talks of all time was just posted — you can view it here or click on over to the TED site to explore. This 18 minutes of fascinating and intriguing stories by J.J. Abrams, creator of Lost, Alias and the soon to be released film Cloverfield, was just as awesome in person as it is now in digital form. His passion and genius for mystery is clear. Thanks for posting that link. The idea of Abrams’ mystery box totally captured my imagination when you quoted from this talk in your TED recap last March, and it really got me thinking about the role of creative totems in the process of creative thinkers.
