Meet The Marks is a recently finished children’s book by our friend Frederic Terral, the genius behind Right Brain Terrain and the Alternative Motivational Posters. The book plays with ‘marks’– a period, question mark, and very cute exclamation point. The 36 page book is for ages 4-6, and Frederic hopes to create a series of them but isn’t quite sure where to go from here. Print it himself? Find a publisher? We love the idea and told him we’d ask our readers, what do you think?

Hmmm… He might want to proof read his work first. Or maybe he could just change the title to, ‘Find The Typos’. And maybe hire an illustrator to make it interesting - not sure you can keep a kid’s attention with four ‘marks’ copied and pasted on a starburst background.

you can publish your book right on the site, select a size format, upload everything all custom too. I’d suggest being a true creative and doing it all yourself! Your book is awesome!

That did come off kinda harsh. I just work around kids books all day. Sorry :)

I liked the book, the marks, are a cute way to reach out to kids, but I think the story should just add a few more pages, with a little more story behind it. But a good idea and think kids would really gravitate towards it.

That´s so cute! I think u got a great idea! that´s the hardest part…. just let the idea rest a couple months, so you can polish any details along the way….

I enjoyed this very much and think younger children could learn a lot from what you demonstrate so well. We live in a day where even words are given new spellings to better adapt people to faster keyboard communications. Where will this lead to if the 4 punctuation marks you show find themselves, and their very existence, in jeopardy? It is an important lesson to stress in today’s world and you do so very well!
