Micro Compact Home

Inspired by first class air travel cabins, and smart cars– The Technical University of Munich and the Tokyo Institute of Technology designed these “Micro-Compact Homes”– to be installed as a village across the campus in Munich. The Micro Compact Home is a nice living situation, and I’d say quite unique for students used to the banal dorm rooms. The upper level has a double bed, and lower level has a dining/work space for 4-5 people. The entrance area functions as a bathroom, lobby, (don’t ask me how smoothly that works).
