I’m completely enamored with Millicent & Frank. Their typographically-inspired objects are a joy to look at and definitely have their own unique flair; their products range from letter-shaped placemats to pop-art style wall hangings made from wood, and they also have a line of gorgeous photos that are printed on fabrics for hanging on your wall.

And just as inspiring as their products is the story behind their name. Millicent & Frank were the grandparents of the company’s principal, Jacqueline Morony. She was a violinist and he was an all-round creative mind, who held jobs ranging from fireman to writer to print-shop owner. Make sure to stop by and read their story — I absolutely love the photo quote that reads, “A girl walked down the street carrying her violin, unbeknownst to her a young fireman was watching from the station, one day he would ask her name.”
