Bright and early this AM I went to an event at the Museum of Islamic Art here in Doha. The architecture was completely breathtaking.

I had to snap this, fascinating to see two women working on computers in the office wearing the traditional black dress covering everything but their eyes. (Called an Abaya).

Amazing, looking forward to more (and photos from Africa).

Fascinating to see indeed those women working.
This dress stands for oppression of those women to not take part of life the way they want to. It also stands for abusive behaviour of their husbands to which they also not choose to marry but were traded to, even at the age of 12 or so.

Nothing beautiful about it really.
