Nixon3

I have owned several Nixon watches over the years, and I have always liked them because they are (in general) inexpensive but push the style threshold– I can wear them with confidence, but don’t mind replacing them every year or so with a new one. Suffice to say, I never thought there would be a day when I would pay more than, say, $100 for a Nixon watch. Nixon’s new Elite line is making me reconsider. Elite Class watches boast custom craftsmanship and high-end materials like Swiss automatic movements, sapphire crystals, ceramic, and titanium carbide. I especially like the ‘there’s nothing lowercase about it’ Capital Automatic (above, left– $600), and the ruby-kissed Ceramic Player (above, right– $1300). Something tells me that I would be able to wear these watches more than just a year or so. Take note Mr. Kringle.

I’d really like to replace my current Player with the ceramic one but I think the 1300$ price tag is a bit steep.

I own the Ceramic, it is unreal, this thing doesn’t scratch. Looks incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice, when you turn it the face of the watch turns a light blue tint because of the sapphyre, bought mine on e-bay less than retail I got lucky and got it for 700, but I see them going for 850 all the time

hello:D
I just bought this watch! the white one!
I am from norway, and I and my family went to New York. In Norway we dont have euro, we have norwegian kroner. And when i shall buy something i have to , multiplize the price with 5 (the us dollar) after the guy in the shop told me that the watch’s price was 1300 dollars, I thought that that ment about 130 dollar (in Norwegian kroner). i said: I’ll have it! and everybody in the shop just: wow! good job! very god! and so on, and my mom thought it costed about 130 dollars, as me, and whem she saw the price, she just: how much??! the man said 1300 dollars. then i realized that i forgot one “0″ on the norwegian price! me and my mom just: OMG! What are we doing now? everybody just locked at us XD and then we agreed that she shoud buy it and I¨ll get it as a early birthday present and pay about 200 dollars by my self. OMG! what a experiene! :) right now, i¨m wearing the watch:D
