It seems like the point of a concept is to create something beautiful inspired by the constraints of the function (as in form follows…) of an existing product.

If you’re too lax on following the constraints, it’s not really a concept model anymore. It’s sculpture (which has its own nice qualities).

In this case there is no drive train. No drive train on a bicycle is a bit much.
At that point, there’s really no need for the wheels either. Or the handlebars.
Or the pedals. So this is really a concept chair.

Maybe it just coasts?

I suppose one *could* actually follow the links and learn there is a concept of an internal drive train. But that would take more effort than just saying things.

Quite clear you’ve never spent any time in the bike industry. Chain free drivetrains are nothing new and a few designs are currently in production. Hub and spoke less wheels are also not new. Back in the 90s a company called Wear and Tear briefly produced a design called the Black Hole. The main frame of this bike is almost a direct copy of the Trek Y-Foil frame from the 90s. In fact, I’m having a hard time finding ANYTHING on this bike that hasn’t already been done before. Yawn.
