In case you were living under a rock last week (hey it’s possible), the boys at Radiohead gifted the world with an incredible live performance on Current.tv rocking out to their latest album, In Rainbows. I’ll go out on a limb here and say this was probably the best album of 2007, and the greatest gift a band could ever give their fans. In fact, I think it might even be the best album of the 2000’s in my book (someone challenge me). So, go indulge yourself, grab a pair of headphones and ease your way back into the year 2008 with a little bit of Thom Yorke’s poetry and a smile on your face.

Beck’s the Information and El-P’s I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead are both clearly better albums than In Rainbows. You guys must have some of that New Year’s hashish left over.

please note that Josh’s opinion does not reflect all of the JS.com editorial staff — i, for one, agree with you on Beck, and think that there are many other albums i’d place before ‘In Rainbows.’ like anything that The National put out, ‘Ancient Melodies of the Future’ by Built to Spill and probably ‘Everything All The Time’ by Band of Horses.

that, again, is just me.

Just a BTW… Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail to the Thief were all released in the 2000’s.
Personally, I even liked “The Eraser” more than “In Rainbows”

You guys are all smoking crack. Thom Yorke makes Beck look like a child searching for a tune.

Just kidding. These are all incredible albums. Just making trouble :)

Radiohead is the most over rated band… ever.

and Ryan Seacrest is good.

In Rainbows goes to show how Radiohead dominate popular music. Beck might have spray painted the vegetables, but everyone apart Josh must have had a portion.

Genius.

Oh god this album is growing on me… This album is gonna be one of those that attaches itself to a period in my life so that every time i hear it, i’m riddled with nostalgic sentiment.

Thanks for posting this/spreading awareness… I would have missed it.
