Sometimes you find a gem of an art gallery just by chance, such was the case with Reflex Modern Art Gallery. Located at Weteringschans 79a, slightly away from the tourist and coffee house laden Leidseplein, Reflex boasts photography and sculpture from famed artists such as David La Chappelle and Erwin Olaf, one of my personal favorites. The bare wood floors and white walls contrast nicely to the classic Dutch architectural elements of the exterior, creating a gallery fit for the unique works inside. In a city filled with classic painting and sculpture, Reflex offers a modern collection that brings together class, edge, and color. It's definitely not to be missed!
